A lot has changed since 2005

My second blog post was a family portrait taken in 2005. Blake was still with us (he turned 13 yesterday and we wish him all the happiness in the world). Sheela is 17 now, Neil (formerly Sunil) is about to turn 14. About the only thing that hasn't changed is our address. Dallas Children's Aquarium at Fair Park

Sheela switched her volunteer service to the Aquarium this year. She likes that there will be a lot more animal interaction and more face time with the public. I like the number of other places to go hang out while she works. Fair Park is home to the Discovery Gardens, Museum of Science and Nature, IMAX Theater, Natural History Museum, Railroad Museum, Car Museum and the DAR Center.

Unfortunately only the Aquarium opens this early so once again I'm spending her volunteer service at McDonalds. I hate McDs. But it's inside, warm and I have a table to hold my books and notes. It could be worse.
