13th parade day

Sheela's birthday weekend kicked off with a visit from Mom and John, a
night on the town in Dallas, and the Christmas parade. The parade
doesn't change much from year to year but we sure have. This year the
weather was about as perfect as it could be.

Sheela's golf team played their first tournament today. A full day of
golf while the rest of the 7th grade was taking benchmark tests. She
was not happy with her personal performance but seemed to enjoy the day.

Threes

I've long been told that things come in threes. I don't usually think
about it myself but so many people mentioned it after Jennifer died
that it was almost expected. We've lost three employees in three
weeks. Mary passed away today and that was unexpected. I don't even
know if she was sick.
