John was playing in a golf tournament rather than hiking with us this trip.
But I always associate the mushroom and tree stump pictures with John.
This is one of my favorite shots... it shows the "Smoky" in Smoky Mountains.
The rhodies were just past their prime and we were walking on carpets of fallen blossoms,
