It looks like my father-in-law is in the hospital for a few days. He has pancreatitis so he is really appreciating that morphine drip right about now. The normal causes have been ruled out (gallstones and heavy drinking) so they still have some work to do before they can really determine a treatment plan (aside from the standard 3-4 days without food). At least they have addressed the pain.

How's Dr. Sharma doing now? Have they found out yet what's causing the episode? I'm sure it's distressing for the whole family. Please tell him (and Mrs. Sharma too) that we are thinking of them!
