It's official
I’m going to Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco. I have plane tickets, room reservations (at the uber-trendy Clift Hotel) and a full conference pass. This should be the last of my trips for this year and if not for the six hours of lectures each day would qualify as a vacation.

Congratulations - it sounds like it will be a fun and useful trip.
We've done our time in the corporate world and are ready to spend some time enjoying the real world where we get to meet real people and see real things in new places. The world is a big, fantastic places; we hope to get to see it and maybe make it a little bit better.
