Mom and John painted the waves on the walls back at Christmas. Sunil added the "pieces of eight" raining down from above. 
The kids and I painted the fish and the seaweed.
Sunil also tiled his own trophy shelf. Not pictured we added a full length mirror and removed an old dresser. The mirror from the dresser is going to be remade into an additional "window".

The room looks FANTASTIC. Congrats to Sunil (and contributors) on his creativity.
A friend from work just reminded me that Sunil's original vision for his room was to paint it purple with orange trim. I'd forgotten that phase.... I'm glad we waited long enough for him to forget it too.
