Temperatures have been as high as 108 oF (42 oC) here and it is supposed to continue for a few more days. I don't even want to think about how high the heat index is going to be. Every now and then I'm glad that I have this "desk" job.

Whew. Looks like the hurricane (Eduard)will be bringing you some cloud cover, anyway. Silver lining and all that.
Ok. I hereby swear to not complain about the heat over here (a mere 34oC). Are parasols carried over there? Japanese women (not me, though) carry them here. This year even long black arm coverings are in...(um. Not for me though).
