Dress for the weather

Texas can be such a roller coaster ride.  We hit the upper 80’s mid week last week and were down below freezing a few days later.   Yesterday was in the 70s, today it’s in the 40s.  The daffodils are almost done blooming but the Redbuds and Bradford Pears haven’t peaked.  I need a fan at my desk and a coat in the conference room (but that’s another, smaller story).  It makes it hard to decide what to wear around here from day to day.

One of the most memorable things for me about living "up north" was the fact that you kids could start wearing your school clothes (read: long sleeves, jackets, sweater, etc)on the first day of school in September, and keep wearing them (only adding more as the winter grew colder) until school was out around the end of May.
Made clothes management decisions easier than the southern roller-coaster weather I had been accustomed to.
I just said it was memorable - not pleasant!
