Hospital Captive

Just yesterday we were discussing the tendency for doctors to take advantage of their patients proximity when they are in the hospital to demand all sorts of extra tests and procedures. They can't really get away or effectively counter with, "I'll call and set something up later..." Sure enough Mommy has to have another procedure today. Apparently there is some concern over something that showed up on her EKG from Sunday so they are going to do a dye test on her this morning. Until that is resolved we wont be able to plan for her release. We were working on getting her transferred to a rehab floor for a week or so. She needs to develop some upper body strength before she can use either a wheelchair or a walker.
