This morning Anderson Elementary honored the recipients of the Shooting Star Awards for September. Sheela was nominated from her class (the teacher makes the nomination) based on Academics, Citizenship and Attitude. She is pictured here with the 2nd and 3rd grade winners. In addition to the certificate the kids earned an extra recess. My pictures from the ceremony were not very good but a professional picture will be sent home along with the certificate next week.
